I haven’t posted a ‘First Chapter, First Paragraph Tuesday’ in a long time!
For those of you who don’t know what this is, every Tuesday book bloggers share the first paragraph or two of a book that they are reading or plan to read soon. It used to be hosted by ‘Bibliophile by the Sea’, but now, it is hosted by Vicki at ‘I’d Rather Be At The Beach’.
This time, I’d like to share with you the first paragraph of ‘How To Stop Time’ by Matt Haig. This book has been on my To Be Read List and I hope to read it soon:
‘I am old. That is the first thing to tell you. The thing you are least likely to believe. If you saw me you would probably think I was about forty, but you would be very wrong.’
Would you continue reading? Feel free to add links to your ‘First Chapter, First Paragraph Tuesday’ in the comments box.
